While talking with some people in the Main Hall you hear someone say something about strange rumblings in the Marewood Forest, a few miles outside of town. Being the inquisitive sort and feeling somewhat adventurous after your last excursion, you decide to go to the forest to investigate.
When you get to the forest you find some tracks. You start following them and soon find yourself lost, but just as you're about to give up hope you feel a hand grab you around the ankle and pull you into a pit. Caught by surprise, you have no chance to fight back. You lose consciousness as you drop below ground level — probably not enough air!
