The Realm of Ammilos is a lost human nation that flourished centuries ago along the southeastern coast of the continent of Addar on the shores of the Magic Seas.
The realm, which may have originated as an offshoot of the ancient civilization of Kor, was probably established around 1200 BA and coexisted with tribes of dwarves who lived in the surrounding hills. Governed by a council of elders and skilled mages, the land endured peacefully for centuries until the mid-second century when it abruptly collapsed and its people died out. Scholars believe a sudden environmental disaster doomed the realm, but its nature and cause remain a mystery.
In more recent centuries the region has been repopulated by migrants moving up the coast from lands farther south and west.
