The great navigator and explorer Aldus Poak is honored in the Kingdom of Evenhold for his journeys of discovery in the early third century which began the Age of Exploration. Setting out from Evenhold Harbor, Poak and his crew made several multiyear sea voyages that expanded the boundaries of the known world and greatly improved cartographers' understanding of the seas and lands surrounding Addar.
Poak was the first Addaran since the years of the Old Empires to reach the Island of Apple, and the isle's highest point — Poak's Peak — carries his name.
