This ruined keep stands at the eastern edge of the Kingdom of Evenhold, overlooking the approach to the Wenden Pass through the Jarlschlager Range. In the age of Aevinn is was the citadel of a thriving mountain town, but the settlement gradually diminished through the first millennium and little trace of it now remains, save for the citadel's keep. In recent decades it's become a hideout for thieves and cultists.
The name of the pass and its keep comes from a Doyish word meaning twisty or winding.
